I talk to myself, I'm the only one who understands

Trust me, I've tried with so many mysterious creatures

From so many cryptic lands

All that I hear and go through seems to lower me down

For thousands of years I have wandered the Earth

I'm alive but I slowly drown

In a world of death and despair I"m slowly dissolving

Longing for solitude in this world made of ice

To clothe my soul in a dark obscurity was my fatal sacrifice

Grasping for life but the air reeks of death and despair

In this icecold sphere there's no room for me

I scream out but no one hears

In an ocean of red wine

I'm drowning all my sorrows

Then I feel okay, it helps me feel all right

In the shadow of the mourning son

In the shelter of the damned and longing

Under the wings of the fallen ones

I'm dancing on this narrow line

To understand the weight of what I've gone through

I had to climb down the roots of the tree of life

And break all inner barriers too

At the edge of my sanity I had to turn

It's the story of my life
