Os Bombásticos formed in São Paulo's underground scene in the late 1990s, with Rogério Flausino on vocals and guitar, Felippe Dieder on bass, Marcelo Gross on drums, and Pedro Pelotas on keyboards. Their debut album 'Infinito Particular' came out in 2002, followed by records like 'Sem Limites' in 2004 and 'O Som das Coisas Vivas' in 2006.
In 2003, they released 'O Tempo Que Já Passou,' a song that became widely known for its nostalgic lyrics about time passing. The band's music sometimes addressed social issues, which drew both supporters and critics.
After disbanding briefly in 2013 due to creative differences, Os Bombásticos reunited in 2015. Their later work included the 2010 album 'O Combate Continua.'
