Os Virtuosos formed in the early 2000s with Adriano Ribeiro on vocals, Renan Martins on guitar, Fernando Costa on bass, and Pedro Albuquerque on drums. Their debut album 'Amor Sem Fim' came out in 2005 and included the song 'Câmera Lenta (Versão Rádio)', which became widely popular. They followed with albums like 'Canções do Coração' in 2007 and 'Ao Vivo em Copacabana' in 2009.
Other songs like 'Dia Feliz', 'Me Diz', and 'Teu Passado Te Condena' also appeared in their catalog. The band continued releasing music into the 2010s with 'Além das Fronteiras' in 2012 and 'Essencial' in 2015. Edu Ribeiro joined on keyboards at some point, rounding out their lineup.
In 2007, the group faced some criticism over plagiarism allegations regarding one of their songs, though these were later dismissed. Ribeiro's involvement with social and political topics through their music has occasionally drawn attention as well.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
