Os Vocalistas Modernos formed in Rio de Janeiro in the early 1980s, with Paulo Ricardo as their vocalist and songwriter. They released their self-titled debut album in 1982, followed by 'A Gente Faz a Festa' in 1983. That same year, they put out 'Agora É Cinza,' which became their most recognizable song.
Their catalog includes tracks like 'Calla Calla,' 'Casa de Sopapo,' and 'Maria Anita.' The group disbanded in the early 1990s, but their recordings have remained in circulation.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
