Osmar Dutra and Jean Moreira met while studying music at the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. They shared an interest in traditional Brazilian rhythms and began working together, drawing inspiration from artists like Milton Nascimento and Chico Buarque.
Their debut album was called "Colheita de Saudade," which shares its name with one of their songs. Other recordings include "Canções do Tempo," "Encontro," and "Passagem." Their material often deals with personal themes, as heard in tracks like "Espinho da Paixão" and "Minha Mãe Minha Professora."
Some early critics questioned their approach, but they continued writing and performing together. Their work has remained focused on songcraft rather than chasing trends.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
