Archive material and source history
Otto formed in Santiago, Chile in 1999 with Felipe Cadenasso on vocals and guitar, Rodrigo Acha on bass, and Cristián Gálvez on drums. Their first album, 'Entre el Miedo y la Razón,' came out that same year. They broke through in 2002 with 'Popdecadente' and its lead single '6 Minutos,' which became a kind of anthem in Chile.
After a two-year break starting in 2005, they returned with a more introspective sound.
Their music moved from the grunge and alternative rock of their early work toward something more experimental later on. They're still known for that hit '6 Minutos,' but their catalog includes a range of material from raw rock to quieter, more thoughtful tracks.
