Out Way formed in São Paulo around 2015, with Pedro Almeida on vocals and guitar, Rafael Silva on keyboards, and Paulo Costa on drums. Their first single, 'Oh Deus,' got some attention locally. They put out a debut album called 'Além dos Limites' that mixed some Brazilian rhythms with electronic and pop sounds.
Later records like 'Aurora' and 'Refúgio' added more soul and R&B touches. In 2018, an unfinished demo leaked online and led to some talk about plagiarism, which the band denied. The title track from 'Além dos Limites' also drew some criticism for its lyrics.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
