Outer Circle

Outer Circle formed around singer and songwriter Ethan James, who started writing after what the band describes as a difficult personal experience. He worked with guitarist Jake Taylor, bassist David Miller, and drummer Alex Reed. Their first album was called 'The Weight of the World.'

They put out a few more records after that, including 'Echoes of the Past' and 'Phoenix Rising.' The song 'Clean Break' became one of their better-known tracks, along with others like 'Cooked' and 'Imposter.'

Their music tends to lean toward rock, with lyrics that often deal with personal struggle and moving forward. They've kept at it through some early internal disagreements and outside criticism, but without much of the dramatic comeback narrative that sometimes gets attached to their story.
