Overcast formed in 2001 with Ryan Murphy on vocals. Their debut album 'Forever' came out the following year, and they followed it with 'Reborn to Kill' in 2004 and 'Intoxicated' in 2007. The track 'Absolute Threshold' from 2005 became a particular fan favorite.

After announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2010, the band returned in 2017 with a new album called 'Realms of Eternal Decay'. Their catalog includes songs like 'Allegiance To The Flesh' and 'Bleed Into One'.
