Overdrives formed in Brazil in the late 1990s with a lineup that included vocalists Leo Jaime and Guto Goffi, guitarists Paulinho Moska and Leo Jaime, bassist Fabio Lessa, and drummer Sérgio Rosa. Their self-titled debut album came out in 1997 and featured the song 'Iludido,' which became one of their most recognizable tracks.
Leo Jaime eventually became the band's sole vocalist. They put out albums like 'Acústico' in 1999, 'A História' in 2001, and 'Plugado' in 2003. Other songs in their catalog include 'Não é Maior,' 'Pensamentos,' 'Se Formos Iguais,' and 'Todos os Momentos.'
In more recent years, Overdrives have continued to tour and release new material. Their sound has shifted toward more introspective territory while keeping some of the energy from their earlier work.
