Pablo Forrozeiro comes from Chã Grande, Pernambuco, where he grew up around forró music. He started playing accordion as a teenager and formed his first band around that time.
In 2010, his single "Mina" became popular across Brazil. That song helped establish him in the forró scene, and he followed it with albums like Forrozão da Gente, Forró do Acordeon, and Eu Quero Mais.
Some listeners have questioned whether his approach commercializes the genre, but he's continued making forró music that connects with audiences. His work includes the 2020 album Meu Forró é Assim.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
