A late-90s band that blended reggae with rock elements across several albums.
For their sound, check 'Jumpship' or 'California Girl'. That's where you hear what they were doing.
Their 2002 debut 'Dub Side of the Moon' caught some ears for that reggae-rock blend when not many were trying it. Songs like 'Jumpship' and 'California Girl' show what they were going for, that laid-back California vibe with some guitar edge. There was also that plagiarism thing with Horace Andy in 2007 that they had to sort out.
They formed in San Diego in the late 1990s with Jason Roberts on vocals, Brad Parsons on guitar, and Scott Moore on drums. After 'Dub Side of the Moon' in 2002, they put out '21st Century Dub' in 2005 and 'Starships and Satellites' in 2008, with lineup changes and money troubles along the way.
