In 2012, Ribero faced allegations of copyright infringement related to the melody in "Invasão de Amor," which led to a legal dispute. He continued putting out albums like "Sorriso do Sol" in 2010, "Um Novo Tempo" in 2014, and "Além do Horizonte" in 2019.
He has worked with other Brazilian artists including Ivete Sangalo, Claudia Leitte, and Jorge Vercillo. His band has included percussionist Bruno Ribas and guitarist Edinho do Ban.
