Pamela Cipryano grew up in Salvador, Bahia, where she started music lessons at eight and studied with vocal coach Marilda Vasconcellos. Her debut album was self-titled, and she followed it with records like 'De Corpo e Alma' and 'Entrelinhas.'
Her song 'A Espera de Um Milagre' became her breakthrough single. She worked with musicians including bassist Arthur de Faria, drummer Bruno Pelisson, and keyboardist André Guedes.
Early on, some critics questioned her style and lyrics, but she kept a loyal audience. Her music draws from samba, MPB, and jazz without sticking to one formula.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
