Their 2003 single "Só Caqui" became a breakout hit, reaching the top of Brazilian charts. The song's mix of percussion, horns, and Neguinho's vocals gave them a national following. Other tracks like "A Nossa Historia," "Anjo Azul," and "Gostosa" became part of their repertoire.
They released albums including "Caqui Ao Vivo" in 2004, "Samba Retoque" in 2006, and "Samba de Todo Jeito" in 2010. The band collaborated with artists like Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, and Daniela Mercury while continuing to tour.
