Archive material and source history
Paper Heroes formed in the early 2000s as a quartet with vocalist Ethan Willis, guitarist Jake Evans, bassist Luke Carter, and drummer Alex Davis. They released a debut EP called 'The Turning Tide' in 2005, which got some attention for its raw energy. Their second album, 'The Anatomy of Loss,' came out in 2007 and included the song 'Anatomy,' which became their most recognizable track.
After 'Anatomy' gained traction, guitarist Jake Evans left the band that same year. They brought in Sam Taylor to replace him. The group went on to release two more albums: 'Echoes of the Past' in 2011 and 'All the World's a Stage' in 2015.
They've kept a relatively low profile since their last album.
