For their sound, try "She Is Love." For something a little more reflective, "The Mess I Made" holds up.
Their 2009 single "She Is Love" cracked the top 10 on Billboard's Hot Adult Contemporary chart, giving them a foothold. Songs like "The Only One" and "The Mess I Made" show their knack for clean, guitar-driven pop about love and regret. They kept at it for over a decade, putting out albums even after lineup changes and personal challenges.
They formed in Charlottesville in 2005 and released their debut EP "Losing Sleep." Their self-titled 2009 album included "She Is Love," and they followed with four more studio albums through 2020. Drummer Johnny Stubblefield died in a 2012 car accident, and the band continued with Sean Hurley.
