Paralelos do Ritmo was founded by Leandro Lehart and Dudu Nobre, two Brazilian musicians who shared an interest in samba and bossa nova. Their song "Como se Faz com Amor" became particularly well-known, exploring themes of romance with a straightforward melodic approach.
They released several albums including "Paralelos do Ritmo" in 2003, "Como se Faz com Amor" in 2005, and "Um Samba de Lágrimas" in 2008. Another track, "Não Dá Mais," appears among their top songs. The band performed live at venues like Circo Voador, where they recorded a 2011 album.
They worked with other Brazilian artists including Carlinhos Brown, Ivete Sangalo, and Caetano Veloso.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
