Archive material and source history
Paralíticos formed in Madrid in the late 1970s, with Manolo Tena on vocals and guitar. Their early sound pulled from rock, punk, and flamenco, and their lyrics often dealt with raw, personal themes. Their debut album 'Sueños en el Bosque' came out in 1980.
Other tracks from that period include 'El Hombre Ahogado' and 'El Mar Muerto'.
The band broke up in 1985 but returned in 1999 for a tour and new material, releasing 'El Juego de las Estrellas' that year and 'Trece' in 2002. Their later songs include 'Enterrado vivo' and 'Lovecraft'.
