Paramethrik

Paramethrik formed in 1989 around brothers Omar and David Abdulrahman. They worked with a DIY approach early on, self-producing and distributing their music through independent labels. Their sound developed from industrial foundations into something harder to categorize, pulling in ambient textures and experimental approaches.

Their debut album 'Solve Et Coagula' established their approach with industrial beats, eerie melodies, and spoken word passages. Later albums like 'The Cutting Edge' and 'Crucible of Consciousness' incorporated world music elements and classical instrumentation while maintaining their experimental edge.

Omar Abdulrahman handled vocals and programming while David worked with guitar and electronics. They kept this core lineup consistent through their recordings, building their sound from that foundation rather than shifting personnel.
