Parry Gripp is an American singer and songwriter who wrote 'Raining Tacos,' a song that went viral in 2009. He grew up in Los Angeles, where his father Robert Gripp worked as a composer and arranger. Gripp has mentioned being inspired by The Beatles, Elton John, and Randy Newman.
His debut album was called 'For Those Who Can't Be Bothered.' Later records include 'Just Me and My Monkey,' 'Go Ape,' and 'Animal Tracks.' Other songs in his catalog include 'Doctor Who,' 'Its Wedding Time,' 'Tacocat,' and 'Inside Of Every Demon Is a Rainbow.'
Gripp has performed with a band called The Parry Gripp Band. At one point, drummer Matt Cameron from Pearl Jam was involved.
