Pathetic

Pathetic formed in 2015 when Anya and Ethan started making music together. They put out their first EP, 'Lucid,' in 2017, followed by another called 'Somnia' in 2019. Their 2021 album 'Dreamcore' included the track of the same name, which became a notable piece in their catalog.

Their sound leans into what's often called dreamcore, with ethereal textures and atmospheric arrangements. The music tends to be more about mood than conventional structure, built around shimmering synths and vocals that drift through the mix.

In 2020, a leaked demo of an unreleased track sparked some discussion among listeners, though the band kept working. They've faced occasional criticism for their unconventional approach, but they've continued putting out material on their own terms.
