Paulo Akihiro is a Brazilian singer who came up in the late 2000s. He started working with guitarist Lucas Lima and keyboardist Victor Ribeiro around 2009, and they put out a debut album called 'Nosso Rolo' in 2012. The title track from that album, a straightforward romantic ballad, got some attention in Brazil.
He's from Santos, a coastal city, and his music seems to draw from Brazilian pop and funk. Other songs like 'Desconto Na Bebida' and 'Ser Tão Perfeito' followed, but 'Nosso Rolo' remains the track people know.
The band released a few more albums after that, 'Onze' in 2014, 'Incondicional' in 2016, and 'Singular' in 2018. They kept a fairly low profile compared to some of their peers, and Akihiro himself was sometimes described as outspoken, which led to occasional friction in the press.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
