Paulo Ferraz was a Brazilian singer and guitarist who released his self-titled debut album in 1993. He's best known for the song "Sumiu do Mapa," which came out in 1997 and became a major hit in Brazil with its melancholic melody about disappearance and loss.
He worked with musicians like guitarist Pedro Brandão, bassist Ricardo Cruz, and drummer Ricardo Barreto. Later albums included "Trilha Sonora Vol. 1" in 1999, "Um Tempo Pra Pensar" in 2002, and "De Volta ao Começo" in 2011.
Ferraz died in 2017. His music, particularly "Sumiu do Mapa," continues to be remembered in Brazil.
