Paulo Guedes is a band from São Paulo that formed in 2003 around vocalist and songwriter Paulo Guedes. They released their self-titled debut album in 2006, followed by Aurora in 2009 and Transcendere in 2012. Their music incorporates elements of ambient, electronic, and Brazilian folk.
Their song Kairós, which appears on their 2016 album of the same name, became their most recognizable track. The band also recorded Obrigado Pelo Seu Amor and Unidos Na Noite de Natal. Their 2016 album Kairós was produced by Robert Fripp.
The lineup includes Paulo Guedes on vocals and guitar, Pedro Campos on bass, Felipe Maia on drums, and Daniel Guedes on keyboards. Their work has maintained a consistent presence in Brazilian music circles since their formation.
