Their song 'Estou Voltando Pra Casa' became particularly well-known for capturing that feeling of homesickness. Paulo César Baruk was born in 1966 and grew up in the countryside of São Paulo. Leandro Borges was born in 1969 in Goiás. Their partnership ended when Leandro died in 1998 after being diagnosed with cancer the previous year.

They released more than ten studio albums together. Their work remains part of the sertanejo catalog, remembered for straightforward songs about everyday feelings rather than for dramatic innovation.
