He kept putting out albums like 'Viajando na Babilônia' in 1989, 'Direto do Front' in 1992, and 'Ponto de Partida' in 2003. He worked with other musicians too, including Jimmy Cliff, Gilberto Gil, and Caetano Veloso.
His band, Pedro Lua e a Batuque Elétrico, has been with him through it all, with players like João Carlos on guitar and vocals and Marcelo Santos on keyboards and vocals.
