Pedro Salomão

Pedro Salomão is a singer-songwriter from Rio de Janeiro who began releasing music as a solo artist around 2015. His debut album that year was called 'Leoa,' named after the song that became his first notable track. The album established his approach with straightforward vocals and lyrics that lean toward personal reflection.

His songs like 'Cafuné' and 'Só Você É Você' have a conversational quality, often circling around relationships and everyday observations. The music draws from MPB and folk styles without making a show of blending them, keeping arrangements relatively spare. He works with a small band in live settings, including guitarist Rodrigo Tavares and bassist Pedro Melo.

Salomão has put out two more albums since his debut: 'Sangue' in 2018 and a self-titled record in 2021.
