A Bandung group that blends post-hardcore energy with shoegaze textures, unafraid to stir things up.
For a sense of their sound, try "Be Seen And Be Scene" or "Hadapi Dunia." Both show what they do well.
They've been making music that matters in Indonesia since 2011, mixing post-hardcore and shoegaze into something that feels both melodic and raw. Songs like "Be Seen And Be Scene" drew criticism from conservative groups in 2015, but the band stood by their work. Their catalog includes tracks like "Hadapi Dunia" and "Heartbreak Can Be A Good Business" that show their knack for sharp, memorable rock.
They formed in Bandung in 2011 with Dochi Sadega as frontman, releasing their debut album "The Purple Balloon" the next year. Over the years they've put out albums like "Falling Asleep on a Horse" in 2014 and "Mirrors" in 2017, while working with Indonesian artists like rapper Saykoji and singer-songwriter Rendy Pandugo.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
