Luis Felipe Madueño, known as Pelo Madueño, was born in Lima, Peru in 1968. He started as a street performer before releasing his debut album 'Cobarde' in 1993, which brought him mainstream attention in Peru's rock scene.
That album's lead single 'Amiga' became particularly resonant with Peruvian youth at the time. Other songs like 'Arena y Blue' and 'Déjame Dormir' also found their audience. He went on to release several more albums including 'Ayer Hoy y Siempre' in 1995, 'Maligno' in 1997, and 'Perra Vida' in 2000.
He collaborated with other Peruvian musicians like Miki Gonzalez and Gian Marco along the way.
