Perc3ption formed in Los Angeles in 2007 with Anya Rose on vocals, Ethan James on guitar, Alex Kane on bass, and Jake Carter on drums. They put out their debut EP "Unveiled" the following year. Their 2010 album "Perception" included the track "Trust Yourself," which got some attention.
Kane left the band in 2012 and was replaced by Sarah Jones on bass. They released another album called "The Journey" in 2013. Other songs from their catalog include "Damned Destination" and "Dead Man In Me."
There was some talk about plagiarism involving Rose in 2015, but it didn't stick. The band's lineup has been Rose, James, and Jones since then.
