Pernilla Karlsson is a Swedish singer-songwriter who first gained attention with her 2010 album 'Fjärieln.' That record included 'När Jag Blundar,' a ballad that became her most recognizable song. She had released a debut album called 'Drömmen Lever' in 2007.
In 2013, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and took a break from music. She returned to recording and released several more albums, including 'Det Kommer Bli Bra' in 2015 and 'Älska Mig Som Jag Är' in 2018. Her song 'When I Close My Eyes' appears to be an English version of her signature track.
She has continued to write and release music since then.
