Their debut album 'Magic Gone' came out in 2014, featuring the song 'Chandelier Thief' as its lead single. The band's lineup included Alex Kerns on guitar, Jesse Haley on bass, and Nick Lotz on drums.
They worked with producer Chris Walla from Death Cab for Cutie on some of their recordings. After 'Magic Gone,' Petal released albums called 'Shame' in 2016, 'In Bloom' in 2018, and 'Eternal' in 2022.
