Old Lagoon

I remember the time when she held in my hand

And she told me a story of love

And she talked about people that don’t understand

That a word can mean more than a lot

When I drove her home that night

I saw a flash in her eyes

Her lateness will always be soon

When I go back to old lagoon.

She dreamed of a world where the bad have no space

And time is a matter of time

She was as clear as the rain in her face
