Earthquakes, famines, pestilence, disease;

Wars and rumors of wars while proclaiming peace.

As in the days of Noah, as in the days of Lot,

We refuse to remember, and then blame it all on God.

Men will be lovers of themselves, unthankful, unholy,

Boasters, proud, blasphemers, lovers of money.

Unloving, unforgiving, despising all that's good;

Lovers of their pleasures rather than lovers of God.

Disregard the power of the Lord.
