Phillipe Trajano

Phillipe Trajano is best known for the song "Aline," which he wrote with Sergio Sampaio in 1967. That track became an immediate hit in Brazil and remains his most recognizable work. He was born in Rio de Janeiro and came from a musical family. His early influences included Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil, though Trajano developed his own vocal approach. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, he released albums including "Aline" in 1967, "Troubadour" in 1970, and a self-titled record in 1972.
