Philly's Most Wanted came out of Philadelphia in the early 1990s. The group had three members: Shiggidy handled most of the vocals, Megahertz produced the tracks, and Mr. Man worked as the hype man. Their first album was called Get a Grip, released in 1992.
They put out another album in 1993 called All Eyez on Us, which featured Tupac Shakur. The following year, they released Cocoa Leaf (No Relief), a single about addiction that became one of their better-known songs. A compilation called The Best of Philly's Most Wanted came out in 2000.
They stopped putting out new music after a while, but Cocoa Leaf and a few other tracks like Cross The Border and Ladies Choice still turn up on playlists now and then.
