Philosophical Stone formed in São Paulo in 2004 around vocalist Marco Antônio, bassist Thiago Galvão, and drummer Rodrigo Moreira. Their debut album 'Doce Amor (Parte 1)' came out that same year, and the track 'Doce Amor (Pt. 2)' became a notable song for them.
In 2009, the band added guitarist Cesar Damião and keyboardist Pedro Fontes and released the album 'O Caminho.' They've put out several more records since then, including 'Aurora' in 2013, 'Sinfonia do Destino' in 2017, and 'O Livro das Sombras' in 2021.
