Phone Calls From Home formed in Duluth, Minnesota in 2006 around singer Eric Bergsten, guitarist Jason Anderson, bassist John Heintz, and drummer Ryan Meyer. Their debut album 'A Reason to Love' came out in 2008, with the title track becoming one of their most recognizable songs.
They released two more albums, 'In Solemn Times' in 2010 and 'Hold the Light' in 2013. Anderson left the band in 2014, and the remaining trio continued working. The group went quiet for a couple years after 2016 before reuniting in 2018.
