Pilate was an alternative rock band that formed in London in the early 2000s. Their debut single 'The Travel Song' came out in 2004 and became their breakout track, with its haunting melody and introspective lyrics finding an audience. The band's lineup included frontman Silas Blackwood, guitarist Ezra Cohen, bassist Anya Petrova, and drummer Rafeal Santiago.
Petrova left the band in 2007, and Blackwood was arrested for drug possession in 2009. With new bassist Eden Sinclair, they released their second album 'Ashes of Eden' in 2011. Other songs from their catalog include 'Shadow On The Take,' 'A Kind Of Hope,' 'A Reprise,' and 'Alright.'
