Pilsen Bullets

Pilsen Bullets came together in the Czech Republic, with Tomáš Hajíček on vocals and guitar, Zdeněk Kříž on bass, and Josef Kroupa on drums. Their first album, Diário, came out in 2015 and included the song of the same name, which became their most recognizable track. They followed it with Stardust in 2018 and Echoes in 2021.

Their music pulls from rock and folk, sometimes with traditional Czech melodies in the mix. Songs like Do Lado de quem? and O Hoje e o Amanhã show their range, from straightforward rock to more reflective material. Hajíček writes most of the lyrics, which tend to be personal and direct.

They built their audience slowly, mostly through word of mouth and playing live. The band has kept the same three members since they started, which gives their sound a consistent feel even as they try different approaches on each record.
