Pistol Grip

Pistol Grip formed in Ohio in the late 1990s, with Kyle Reagan on vocals and Sean Mullins on guitar. Their early shows in garages built a local following around loud, aggressive rock. The song '1997' became their breakout track, appearing on their 2002 debut album 'The Wrath of the Unrighteous.'

That first record also included 'Runnin From the Gun' and 'Aristocratic State,' songs that matched Reagan's direct vocal delivery with heavy guitar work. Their lyrics often dealt with darker themes, which drew some criticism from conservative commentators at the time.

They kept recording through the 2000s, putting out albums like 'The Devil's in the Details' in 2005 and 'The Black Sheep Brigade' in 2009. Later tracks like 'A Murder Of Crows' and 'Adrenaline' appeared on 2014's 'Unleash the Wolves,' maintaining their straightforward rock approach.
