Archive material and source history
The Pitstop Boys came out of London in the late 1970s. They were a British rock band known for putting on energetic live shows. Their song 'Super Max' became their biggest hit.
Their debut album was called 'Powerhouse.' They also released records titled 'Electric Avenue' and 'The Boys Are Back.' The band had four members: Johnny Rasmussen sang, Danny Spencer played guitar, Paul Adams was on bass, and Mark Harrison drummed.
In 1982, they put out a single called 'Bad Boy Blues' that some conservative groups criticized for its lyrics. The band kept playing their style of rock anyway.
