Poe

Poe is a Romanian band formed around 2007 by Dorian Popa, who was already known from television work. They put out their first album 'Sleepless' in 2009, which got some attention and helped establish them. The group has included musicians like Andrei Ciobanu on guitar and Cristian Tarcea on drums at various points.

In 2013 they released a second album called 'The Way to Go,' which had the track 'Sufletul' featuring Laura Toc. That song got regular play on Romanian radio. The band has worked with other vocalists too, including Andreea Galut and Alina Eremia.

There was a legal dispute in 2011 over the band name with a former member, which Poe eventually won. They've kept making music since, though the existing information doesn't detail much beyond that period.
