Ponto Nulo no Céu

Ponto Nulo no Céu formed in São Paulo in 2007 around siblings Natália and Pedro Mantovani with drummer Camilo de Lelis. Their first album, Batida Bruta, came out the following year. The band's songs like Norte and Clarão often work with delicate vocals and poetic lyrics over arrangements that can shift between raw and experimental.

After Natália Mantovani stepped away temporarily in 2014, the group returned with Carvão in 2015, blending electronic touches with what felt like a return to earlier textures.

Across their records, the music tends to avoid straightforward rock formulas, favoring instead a kind of introspective drift. Tracks such as Conselho de Quem Já Esteve Lá and Estado Surdo da Memória reflect that inward, slightly elusive quality that has defined their work since the beginning.
