That 2010 remix of 'Telephone' announced a producer who could reshape pop into something expansive. His own songs, like 'Goodbye To a World' from the 'Worlds' album, built entire emotional landscapes out of synthesizers and melody. More recently, 'Everything Goes On' shows how his sound has softened into something more organic and direct.
He started making music in Chapel Hill and broke through with that Lady Gaga and Beyoncé remix. The 2012 album 'Worlds' established his signature blend of electro house and ambient themes. By 2021's 'Nurture,' he was incorporating acoustic elements and more personal vocals.
