Power From Hell formed in the late 1980s, working in the Scandinavian underground. Their debut album 'Black Metal Gods' came out in 1992, followed by 'Gates of Hell' in 1994 and 'Armageddon' in 1996. Song titles like 'Black Angel' and 'Devil's Rock And Roll' give a sense of their material.
The band's lineup included Infernal on vocals and bass, Desolator on guitar, and Apollyon on drums. They drew from early black metal influences but maintained a raw approach. Their lyrics and imagery sometimes drew criticism from religious groups.
Power From Hell disbanded in the late 1990s. Afterward, Infernal continued with solo work and other bands, while Desolator and Apollyon became less publicly active. Their three albums remain part of the black metal catalog from that period.
