If you see my ears bleed Been worked by disease

Once pristine clean now dirty

That pristine dream is now burning

It's all the same now that the times is turning

I'm thinking about rhymes as release

From the heat that the rhymes release

We used to burn the witches

Now we turn the switches

Throw the blamed at the beast

Disinfect the cut and sow the stitches

So we show that we don't know

Used to crucify the scouts that came to rout new ways

In those blood tarnished days

Wore hoods on our head

And a chip on our shoulder

A chip off the old boulder
