Proclamando a Glória

Proclamando a Glória formed in Rio de Janeiro in 1989, originally calling themselves Banda Ágape. They started as a group of young musicians focused on creating music for worship. Over time, their sound shifted from traditional hymns toward more contemporary arrangements.

Cláudia Rangel has been the vocal anchor since the beginning, with Leonardo Gonçalves joining in 2005. Their songs like "A Minha Adoração" and "Águas Profundas" became staples in Brazilian Christian worship settings. The group faced some criticism in 2015 for performing at a political event, though they maintained their focus was simply on sharing their message.

Their music operates in that space between congregational worship and recorded performance, with guitar work from members like Tiago Arrais providing the foundation. They've built a catalog that includes songs such as "Confiança," which continues to circulate in churches and among listeners who connect with their approach.
