In 2015, Rivera faced plagiarism accusations related to a song on their second album, which the band denied. They continued working and released "Sutil" in 2018, which became their most recognized track.
Their music draws from Latin American folk, rock, and electronic elements, with Rivera's personal lyrics often touching on love and loss. While they've had chart success in Mexico, particularly with "Sutil," their catalog maintains a consistent introspective quality across their four albums.
